Management of Foreign Personnel Improved and Reformed
Update:2015-10-03

The latest statistics shows that  entry-exit personnel through Jiegao gateway reaches thirty six thousand every day, and about thirty thousand of them are Burmese. How to provide better service and management for these foreign labors is an unavoidable question for Ruili.

On June 18, 2013, “Ruili Service Center for Foreigners” was established, which turned local government’s treatment of foreigners from being “management-centered” to being “service-centered”, and made the service for and management of foreigners in Ruili improved to a further degree.

Now the service center is trying perfect relevant guidelines and regulations which then will be translated into English and Burmese. In the meantime, various measures will be taken to strengthen the learning of China’s foreign-related laws and policies, in an attempt to improve foreigners’ sense of belonging.

Besides, an information system, covering dwelling, business, schooling, entry-exit, etc., has also been set up to enhance the management of foreigners in Ruili, which will facilitate information flow, solve the problem of labors inefficiency confronted by Ruili, enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises, and expedite the sustainable and healthy development of Ruili.

With the economic development of Ruili, more and more labor intensive industries are emerging in Ruili, which will correspondingly bring recruitment difficulties for local enterprises. A labor-recruitment platform has been set up between the service center and all enterprises in Ruili, in hope of bringing mutual wins for both foreigners and enterprises. The efficient and convenient services in terms of entry-exit, business, investment, tourism, application for medical service and so on provided for foreigners in Ruili will effectively safeguard the legal rights of foreigners in Ruili and strengthen their confidence in seeking for development and comfortable life in Ruili.
