China-Myanmar Folk Custom Museum: a Witness of Border History

  When you are tired you can take a rest in the pavilion where you can hear “China-Myanmar” dogs barking and cocks crowning, you can see pupils crossing between China and Myanmar by bikes, and you can also have a personal experience of “one foot in two countries”. This is a description about the harmonious life along China-Myanmar border areas, which will probably arouse your interest in China-Myanmar fellowship and urge you to follow the trace of China-Myanmar friendship. 

  As a museum themed with the exhibition of folk custom of ethnic groups both in China and Myanmar, China-Myanmar Folk Custom Museum is located at the famous “one village in two countries” scenic spot. The museum will provide you a full and comprehensive exhibition about the history, culture, traditional arts and folk custom of China-Myanmar cross-border ethnic groups. 

  The museum covers 300 sq.m, including one outdoor exhibition zone where agricultural culture is displayed and an indoor exhibition hall where fossils, Buddhism culture, brocade, rattan articles, more than 4000 historical remains of China-Myanmar ethnic groups and so on are displayed.
